The job
Four things. Every interview.
Walk up.
You stop someone who was on their way somewhere else. The first three seconds are the job, and we train you on what to say.
Ask.
The questions come from us, in order. You make them sound like you, hand over the product and wait.
Listen.
The good line is usually the second thing they say. Stay quiet until they say it.
Film.
Your own phone and mic, held vertical. Steady, close, face in focus.
you'll hear no a lot. totally normal.
What you'll shoot
Eight formats. The brief tells you which.
Every project is one brand. The brief says which of these you're shooting and what to ask, so you never walk up to someone wondering what comes next.
- On the street
- On campus
- At events and stores
Campus shoots use hosts who study there. Your own college counts.
- Taste testHand over a bite. Film the face before the words.
- Smell testUncap it, hold it out, ask what it reminds them of.
- Live demoShow it working, right there on the pavement.
- Blind swapTwo cups, no labels. They pick, then you reveal.
- Tried on real peopleThey put it on, check your screen, tell you straight.
- Street quizAsk a question they can't answer. The app answers it.
- App on their phoneThey try it on their own phone. You film the first tap.
- Five people, one questionSame question, five answers. We cut them together.
The ads
What your footage turns into.
Ads like these. Someone stopped on their way somewhere, with a product in their hand and an answer nobody wrote for them.
Tap any ad for sound.

Do I need experience?
No. You need to be comfortable talking to people you've never met. The questions come from us, and we train and practise with you before your first project.
Is it safe?
You shoot in daylight, in public, in a place you choose. Bring a friend to hold the phone if you like.
Will I be in the ads?
Your voice, and sometimes your hand holding the mic. The stranger is the star.
Can I do this around classes or a job?
Yes. You pick the dates for every project. There's no fixed schedule.
What if nobody stops?
It happens on everyone's first project. Send what you have and we'll work on your opening line together.
How do I get paid?
Within three days of the project being delivered, to a bank account in your name.
Which cities?
We're building a list of hosts across India. Apply from wherever you are, and we'll reach out when a project needs your city and your languages.
What phone do I need?
Any phone that shoots steady 1080p video, plus a mic. A basic clip-on mic is enough.
What happens after I apply?
We reply within a week on WhatsApp. If it's a fit, we set up your training call, then your first project.
